Job summary

Egis Group seeks a senior professional to establish and lead its nuclear environmental practice in Singapore. You will drive business development, win advisory commissions, and deliver Phase 1 environmental workstreams drawing on global experience.

Based in Singapore, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, engage with government partners, and build regional relationships across Southeast Asia to position Egis for the decade of work ahead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental impact assessment, with nuclear power plant exposure.
• Experience in nuclear environmental studies incl. baseline investigations, screening, modelling.
• Familiarity with IAEA Milestones Approach and Phase 1 infrastructure requirements.
• Track record delivering consultancy under World Bank, ADB, JICA, IFC, or UNDP safeguards.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver to international standards.
• Established relationships with energy ministries or nuclear regulators in Southeast Asia.
• Willingness to travel and operate independently.
• Strong English communication skills for client-facing outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development for Singapore nuclear programme with government agencies and research institutions.
• Deliver environmental workstreams aligned with IAEA Milestones Phase 1.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Develop regional relationships across Southeast Asia and lead proposals.
• Engage with regulators and development partners to raise Egis’s profile.
