Job summary

ERM in Singapore is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to lead and deliver environmental consulting projects. You will manage tasks, coordinate with authorities, and mentor junior staff in a multi-disciplinary team across offices.

The role emphasizes client engagement, technical reports, and business development while ensuring compliance with international standards and local requirements. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in environmental consultancy; senior or junior roles adjusted by experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Good knowledge of Singapore's EIA/PCS process; ESIA knowledge is an advantage.
• High level Excel skills including data manipulation.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Ability to multi-task, travel, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare EIAs, PCS, and ESIAs with management plans per international standards.
• Coordinate with local authority for EIA/PCS approvals.
• Serve as Project Manager for medium to large projects; supervise tasks and subcontractors.
• Lead report writing, data collection coordination, literature reviews, and client-focused recommendations.
• Collaborate with global practitioners and support business development and client relationships.
• Mentor junior staff.
