Job summary

PerkinElmer, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, NPI Operations Project Management to lead end-to-end commercialization of new products across Asia, partnering with R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Finance to ensure disciplined industrialization from concept through ramp.

The role owns operational readiness, execution, and risk management for NPI programs, driving accountability across cross-functional teams to launch on time, at cost, and at target quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or NPI program management within high tech instrumentation, lab automation / analytical instruments, semiconductor, optics, electronics, or similar complex electromechanical products.
• Proven experience leading in house manufacturing NPIs (not purely outsourced).
• Demonstrated track record of owning complex, cross functional programs through SOP and ramp.
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent formal project/program management certification.
• Strong working knowledge of SIOP / IBP; Manufacturing scale up and industrialization; Quality systems and qualification processes.
• Fluent in English; effective communicator at executive and shop floor levels.

Responsibilities

• Own operational industrialization readiness across NPI programs, including CAPEX / OPEX planning and tracking.
• Lead cross functional execution to ensure smooth transition from development to full production.
• Oversee analysis and data-driven insights to anticipate changes and guide decisions.
• Ensure NPI programs launch on time, at cost, and at target quality.
• Manage risk and governance across APAC NPIs.

The Senior Manager, NPI Operations Project Management is accountable for end‑to‑end operational delivery of New Product Introductions (NPI) across in‑house manufacturing sites in Asia. This role partners closely with R&D Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure predictable, disciplined, and scalable industrialization from concept through SOP and ramp.

This leader owns operational readiness, execution, and risk management for NPI programs, driving accountability across cross‑functional teams and ensuring products launch on time, at cost, and at target quality.

Oversees analysis and assessments that identify problems within company processes, using data from internal and external sources. Provides insight to decision-makers. Manages the identification and interpretation of patterns in datasets to locate influences. Oversees forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Responsible for anticipating change and providing data and analytics solutions.

End to End Industrialization & Ramp Execution

• Own operational industrialization readiness across NPI programs, including:
  • CAPEX / OPEX planning and tracking
  • Manufacturing line readiness and capacity validation
  • Ramp up execution and stability post SOP
• Lead cross functional execution to ensure smooth transition from development pilot full production.

Basic Requirement :

• 10+ years experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or NPI program management within:

  • Semiconductor, optics, electronics, or similar complex electromechanical products
