Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is partnering with a well-established MNC in advanced semiconductor manufacturing to hire a New Product Development Quality Director. You will develop high-precision mechanical modules for semiconductor packaging and drive quality across the NPD lifecycle.

Lead quality planning, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9000, while building robust quality systems for NPD, production and post-launch support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related subjects.
• Certification & knowledge of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000, IATF 16949 etc.)

Responsibilities

• Drive the New Product Development (NPD) process from a strategic and quality management perspective.
• Lead quality planning and oversight throughout the product lifecycle, from design and development to product launch and customer implementation.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and other relevant quality standards.
• Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance robust quality management systems covering NPD, production, and post-launch support.
• Establish and implement quality standards, reliability testing, validation processes, and quality control plans.
• Lead quality activities from product conception through manufacturing process control and field performance analysis.
