Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality initiatives across the new product development lifecycle for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will partner with process integration, manufacturing, R&D, and suppliers to ensure qualification, reliability, and performance meet standards and to support a smooth transition to production.

The role requires 3+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing, strong SPC/8D/Six Sigma knowledge, and hands-on experience with semiconductor

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field with strong analytical capabilities.
3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
Expertise in SPC, 8D, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with semiconductor equipment and machine integration.
Hands-on NPD/NPI experience including CTQ identification and MSA.
Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
Proficient data analysis using JMP or Minitab.

Responsibilities

Lead QA activities for semiconductor equipment, modules, and components, including qualification and reliability testing.
Oversee equipment integration projects ensuring QC requirements are met.
Drive quality initiatives throughout NPD/NPI lifecycle to volume production ramp-up.
Collaborate to define and monitor quality metrics: SPC, defect reduction, KPI performance.
Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and assist with customer complaints (RMA/field returns).
Work with Field Service Engineers to monitor machine performance and drive improvements.
Identify cross-functional process improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
Travel to manufacturing sites, suppliers, and customer locations as needed.
