Job summary

ELITE EMPLOYMENT & CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a head baker for night shifts in Singapore to lead production and ensure smooth bakery operations. You will oversee team coordination, manage inventory, and guarantee quality and safety across all baked products.

The role requires 2–3 years of head baker experience, familiarity with professional kitchen equipment, and strict adherence to food safety practices. Night shift 12am–10am, 6 days per week, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as head baker for 2–3 years.
• Experience with Bahn Mi or Vietnamese bakery is preferred.
• Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily production meetings.
• Manage inventory/stock takes and ordering of supplies.
• Coordinate baking staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Clean and prep all baking materials for the specific job.
• Assemble all dry and wet goods for production.
• Work alone or with a team to execute the recipe.
• Utilise industrial equipment to facilitate efficient production.
• Handle all hot or dangerous items with care.
• Ensure all baked goods are stored and packaged properly.
• Adorn all Health, Sanitation, and safety clothing requirements.
