Job summary

PRIME SOURCE AGENCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a bakery/kitchen assistant in Singapore to support daily operations, including cleaning, measuring ingredients, baking breads, decorating pastries and preparing fillings while upholding food safety and quality standards.

You will work early morning shifts starting at 3am, maintain composure in a fast-paced setting, and collaborate with a team. Flexibility for rest days and overtime during peak seasons is required.

• Able to work overtime on weekends and holidays during peak season

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use.
• Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
• Bake different bread types (pretzels, baguettes, multigrain).
• Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking.
• Mix fillings for cakes and pies.
• Decorate cakes with glazes, icing, buttercream and edible toppings.
• Shape dough for pastries (croissants, cookies, sweet rolls).
• Prepare custom pastries based on customer preferences.
• Suggest recipes to renew the menu and attract customers.
• Track supplies and place orders as needed.
