The role covers improving workflows, cross-functional project leadership, and developing new services with B2B potential in Singapore.

Must have a track record of launching initiatives, a strong ownership mindset, and excellent Japanese and English communication to liaise with internal teams and external partners.

OVERVIEW

One of the largest Japanese-language media platforms in Singapore, serving the Japanese community through digital media, web content, social media, and business-related services. The company is expanding its business portfolio and is seeking a highly motivated professional to drive operational improvements and new business initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Oversee project progress across editorial, web, and social media production teams

• Improve operational workflows and internal processes

• Develop systems to enhance service quality and delivery timelines

• Lead cross-functional projects involving multiple teams

• Identify areas for efficiency enhancement and business optimization

2. New Business & Service Development

• Launch and grow new services and business initiatives beyond the media domain, including B2B services

• Develop business plans, define KPIs, and monitor performance

• Drive business growth strategies and execution

• Build and maintain relationships with local partners, vendors, and stakeholders in Singapore

• Collaborate with management on business expansion opportunities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have Requirements：

• Experience in launching or developing new business initiatives

• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently set goals and drive results

• Excellent communication skills in Japanese (For internal and external communications)

• Business-level English proficiency (For internal and external communications)

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in the digital media industry

• Experience in accounting, finance, administration, or back-office operations

• Project management experience

• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and external partners

BENEFITS

Monthly Salary: SGD 3,300 - SGD 5,000 (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Work Location: Central Singapore

Annual Leave: 10 days

Medical Leave & Hospitalization Leave: In accordance with the Singapore Employment Act

Additional Leave Benefits:

Half-day off every second Friday of the month

Year-end holiday closure (typically from 29 December to 3 January)
