Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain LANs/WANs and wireless networks across the organization. You will install routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, monitor performance, and troubleshoot incidents to keep services available and secure.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience (Cisco/Juniper/Arista), strong TCP/IP knowledge, and awareness of cloud networking with preferred certifications (CCNA/CCNP/Network+).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
• Experience with network security tools and best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus; knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS is a plus.
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or JNCIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy LANs, WANs, wireless networks and other network components.
• Install and maintain network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure availability and reliability.
• Implement and enforce network security policies including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including patches and security configurations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve network issues.
