Job summary

Data Connect Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Network Engineer in Singapore to provide L2/L3 support for LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN, and connectivity issues. You will troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and security incidents, handle escalations from NOC, and perform approved configuration changes across routers, switches, and VPN devices.

You'll support VLAN, routing, ACL, NAT, firewall policy, and VPN changes while monitoring devices with NetGain and ensuring timely post-change

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of network engineering or network operations experience.
• Experience in managed services, NOC, or enterprise support environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN, and connectivity issues
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and network security incidents
• Handle escalations from NOC and elevate complex issues to L3 or vendors
• Perform approved configuration changes on routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN devices
• Support VLAN, routing, ACL, NAT, firewall policy, and VPN changes
• Monitor network devices using tools such as NetGain
• Respond to alerts related to availability, utilization, latency, packet loss, CPU, memory, and link status
• Assist with SNMP, Syslog, and device onboarding into monitoring platforms
• Support planned maintenance, migrations, cutovers, and post-change validation
• Maintain network documentation, incident notes, change records, and handover documents
