Job summary

SEARCH INDEX PTE. LTD. is seeking a Network Engineer to manage and support enterprise LAN/WAN, data center, and cloud infrastructure environments (Azure/AWS) in Singapore. The role provides 24×7 operational support and participates in on-call rotations.

You will configure Cisco routers/switches, Fortinet and Check Point firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks, while supporting network security, patching, vulnerability management, load balancers, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Qualifications

Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
Experience with enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
Hands-on with Cisco, Fortinet and Check Point devices.
Experience with VMware, Windows Server, Azure, and AWS is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, routing and switching, VPN, and WLAN.
Familiar with SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Good problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and support enterprise LAN/WAN, data center, and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
Provide 24×7 operational support and on‑call rotation.
Configure and maintain Cisco routers/switches, Fortinet and Check Point firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
Support network security, firewall policies, patching, and vulnerability management.
Deploy and manage load balancers and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and network incidents, coordinating with vendors as needed.
Perform upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Maintain network documentation, inventory records, and SOPs.
Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
