Job summary

Unison Group is seeking a network professional to support enterprise IT infrastructure across on-prem data centres and the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC). The role ensures 24x7 availability, performs troubleshooting, and maintains security and compliance with government IT policies.

Responsibilities include firmware upgrades, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to meet SLAs and drive automation for reliability.

Qualifications

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, AWS Essentials, or AWS Solutions Architect are advantageous.
Experience designing and managing enterprise IT infrastructure for network services (wired and wireless).
Hands-on experience with on-premise data centres and cloud operations (AWS GCC).
Strong troubleshooting across network, application, and security domains; government environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide network support for systems hosted in on-prem data centres and GCC (AWS).
Ensure optimal network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and minimise downtime.
Maintain high levels of network availability, security, and compliance with IT policies.
Manage maintenance, firmware upgrades, and security fixes for network equipment.
Support office renovations, new office setups, LAN/WAN, cabling, and related tasks.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and meet SLAs.
Prepare status reports and present insights to stakeholders and senior management.
Identify and implement automation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
Maintain operational documentation and SOPs for deployment and incident response.
