Job summary

Percept Solutions PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise network and security solutions.

The role involves close collaboration with customers, project teams, vendors, and internal operations to deliver network infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• CCIE certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Multicast, and Spanning Tree.
• Experience with data centre networking technologies such as Nexus, VXLAN, and ACI.
• Knowledge of firewall technologies (VPN, IDS/IPS, FortiGate/Firepower) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions.
• Deploy and commission network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless devices, firewalls, load balancers.
• Perform installation activities including racking, stacking, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, routing, switching, wireless, and security issues.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Operations, vendors, and stakeholders for timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and tests.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, deployment, and troubleshooting of enterprise network and security solutions. The role will involve working closely with customers, project teams, vendors, and internal operations teams to deliver network infrastructure projects successfully. The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience in routing, switching, wireless, data centre networking, firewall technologies, and network security. The role also requires good customer-facing, documentation, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions.
• Deploy and commission network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless devices, firewalls, load balancers, and related equipment.
• Perform network installation activities including racking, stacking, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, routing, switching, wireless, and security-related issues.
• Support medium to large-scale network implementation and migration projects.
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Operations teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design documents, implementation plans, as-built documentation, test plans, UAT and SAT documents.
• Conduct testing, project handover, knowledge transfer, and technical documentation sign-off with customers and internal teams.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other team members.
• Ensure network solutions are implemented in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in network design, implementation, deployment, or support.
• CCIE certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching technologies.
• Experience with routing protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Multicast, and Spanning Tree.
• Experience with enterprise wireless networking solutions.
• Knowledge of Cisco and/or Aruba networking technologies would be advantageous.
• Experience with data centre networking technologies such as Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, and ACI would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of network security and firewall technologies including VPN, IDS/IPS, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, or FortiGate.
• Knowledge of Network Access Control solutions such as Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass would be advantageous.
• Strong network troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good documentation and technical writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project delivery team.
• CCNP certification or equivalent networking knowledge would be advantageous in addition to the mandatory CCIE certification.
