Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise WAN and LAN infrastructure.
• Plan and execute hardware lifecycle management for routers, switches, and data-center devices.
• Upgrade network OS in supported infrastructure to maintain security and vendor support.
• Support design, deployment, and operation of enterprise networks for high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support network solutions.
• Participate in data center/build relocations with minimal business disruption.
• Onboard devices with provisioning, configuration, testing, and documentation.
• Monitor performance and resolve incidents per SLAs; maintain network diagrams and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and security.

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in routing and switching technologies, network operations, infrastructure refresh projects, and data center network deployments. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable network environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise WAN and LAN network infrastructure.
• Perform hardware lifecycle management, including planning and executing refresh or replacement of end‑of‑life (EOL) and end‑of‑support (EOS) network devices such as routers, switches, Gigamon appliances, and terminal servers.
• Plan and execute software lifecycle management by upgrading network operating systems on supported infrastructure to maintain security, performance, and vendor support.
• Support the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of enterprise network environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, infrastructure teams, product teams, and external partners to plan, implement, and support network solutions.
• Participate in data center and server room build, relocation, expansion, and migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Perform network device onboarding activities, including provisioning, configuration, integration, testing, and documentation.
• Monitor network performance and resolve incidents in accordance with operational and service‑level objectives.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve network performance, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise network engineering or network infrastructure support.
• Strong hands‑on experience with routing and switching technologies.
• Experience managing hardware and software lifecycle activities for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Proven experience supporting large‑scale WAN and LAN environments.
• Experience planning and executing network infrastructure refresh and migration projects.
• Knowledge of data center networking and server room infrastructure deployments.
• Experience onboarding and integrating network devices into enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring and network management tools is beneficial.
