Job summary

Third Party Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Network & Security Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure. You will guide projects, ensuring quality and security standards while enabling scalable, resilient networks.

You will provide advanced technical support for Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ISE and related technologies, mentor engineers, and contribute to pre-sales and governance activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on enterprise network and network security experience.
• Experience leading technical teams or large-scale projects.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP Enterprise/Security, CCIE, PCNSE or NSE preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, configuration, integration, and optimization of enterprise network and network security infrastructure solutions.
• Serve as the technical authority for medium to large-scale infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality and security standards.
• Design, implement, and provide advanced technical support for network and security technologies, including but not limited to Cisco, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Alcatel, SolarWinds, and other enterprise networking solutions.
• Lead complex troubleshooting activities, perform root cause analysis, and act as the highest technical escalation point for critical network, security, and connectivity incidents.
• Review and validate network architecture, solution designs, implementation plans, and configuration standards to ensure scalability, resilience, and compliance with industry best practices.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementation plans, configuration guides, acceptance test plans, operational runbooks, and as-built documentation.
• Perform technical reviews and quality assurance for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with organisational security policies, governance frameworks, and customer requirements.
• Lead technical workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and mentoring initiatives to develop engineering capabilities and promote best practices within the team.
• Support pre-sales activities by providing technical consultation, solution recommendations, effort estimation, and implementation planning where required.
• Provide regular technical status updates, identify project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support project governance activities.
• Ensure a smooth transition of implemented infrastructure from project delivery to operations by conducting operational handovers and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Continuously evaluate emerging networking and cybersecurity technologies and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network and network security infrastructure implementation, with experience leading technical teams or large-scale projects.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, network access control (NAC), and network monitoring solutions.
• Hands-on experience with technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firepower, Alcatel, SolarWinds, and similar enterprise platforms.
• Good understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, VRF, VPN, QoS, multicast, DNS, DHCP, and SD-WAN.
• Experience in network security technologies such as Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), IPS/IDS, Network Access Control (NAC), VPN, web filtering, and Zero Trust architecture is highly desirable.
• Proven experience engaging customers, gathering business and technical requirements, managing vendors, and delivering successful infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project implementation methodologies, change management, risk assessment, testing, and production deployment.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE 4/5/6/7, CCSA/CCSE, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while leading technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
