Job summary

BIT SOLUTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Network & Security professional to design and deliver enterprise network projects and security solutions.

You will support presales activities, draft designs, and implement routing, switching, wireless, and firewall platforms across cloud and on-prem environments. The role requires strong hands-on experience with AWS networking, VPNs, SaaS/SSE/SASE where relevant, and the ability to engage with customers on technical discussions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network and security project implementation or support.
• Strong experience in enterprise routing and switching.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, LACP, static routing, OSPF, BGP, NAT, ACLs, and network segmentation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking, including VPC, subnets, route tables, VPN, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience in network design, migration, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• CCNA certification is mandatory.
• Able to handle customer-facing technical discussions and project delivery responsibilities.
• Able to work during weekends, maintenance windows, or after-office hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise network and security solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare network diagrams, high-level designs, low-level designs, implementation plans, and migration plans.
• Design LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, VPN, and cloud connectivity solutions.
• Review existing customer network environments and recommend improvements.
• Implement enterprise routing and switching solutions.
• Implement enterprise wireless solutions, including controller-based and cloud-managed wireless platforms.
• Implement firewall and security solutions such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, SonicWall, WatchGuard, or equivalent platforms.
• Implement site-to-site VPN, remote access VPN, network segmentation, security policies, NAT, routing, and firewall rules.
• Support AWS networking implementation, including VPC, subnetting, routing, VPN, security groups, network ACLs, and cloud connectivity.
• Support implementation of additional platforms such as SSE/SASE, Azure networking, Alibaba Cloud networking, and load balancers where required.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, VPN, and cloud networking issues.
• Analyze and resolve network performance, connectivity, routing, wireless, and security policy issues.
• Work with vendors, principals, and internal teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Support customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Support presales activities, including customer meetings, technical presentations, solution discussions, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals, solution write-ups, implementation scope, and effort estimation.
• Engage customers professionally and translate business or technical requirements into workable solutions.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed according to scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
• Prepare project documentation, including configuration records, test results, handover documents, and as-built diagrams.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.

Role Summary

The Network & Security will be responsible for deliveringenterprise network and security projects, supporting presales activities,designing technical solutions, and providing advanced troubleshooting support.

The role requires strong technical capability across enterprise routingand switching, enterprise wireless, firewall/security platforms, and AWSnetworking. Experience in SSE/SASE, Alibaba Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and loadbalancer technologies will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Network & Security Design

• Design enterprise network and security solutions based on customer requirements.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in network and security project implementation or support.
• Strong experience in enterprise routing and switching.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, LACP, static routing, OSPF, BGP, NAT, ACLs, and network segmentation.
• Strong experience in enterprise wireless implementation and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience in firewall implementation and policy configuration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking, including VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, VPN, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience in network design, migration, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Able to handle customer-facing technical discussions and project delivery responsibilities.

Preferred Requirements

• CCNP certification is preferred.
• Experience with enterprise wireless platforms such as Cisco, Aruba, Huawei, Ruckus, or equivalent.
• Experience with firewall platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, SonicWall, WatchGuard, or equivalent.
• Experience with SSE/SASE solutions such as Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto Prisma Access, FortiSASE, or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking.
• Experience with Alibaba Cloud networking.
• Experience with load balancers such as F5, Citrix NetScaler / ADC, FortiADC, or equivalent.
• Experience with SD-WAN, NAC, IDS/IPS, web security, email security, endpoint security, or DLP will be advantageous.
• Other relevant vendor certifications will also be considered.
