Job summary

GETRONICS SOLUTIONS (S) PTE LTD seeks field service personnel to install, configure and maintain network equipment at customer sites in Singapore. The role covers hardware installation, site surveys, and basic remote access configurations, with emphasis on reliability and timely responses.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of networking experience, strong documentation skills, and basic English proficiency to follow technical instructions and communicate with clients.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in networking or field services.
• Strong ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Basic command of English for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade and move network equipment at customer sites.
• Provide 7x24 on-call support and on-standby SLA as needed.
• Replace field-replaceable units and restore normal operation.
• Apply engineering changes or software updates per instructions.

Job description

Scope of Work :

• Installation, Addition, Change, Move
• Activities performed in customer’s sites;
• Includes Technical site survey, Wifi passive site survey, Site preparation, Staging,
• Installation, support on migration, and Day 1 onsite support.
• Installation involving rack/stack, and input of basic configurations for remote access.
• Equipment include routers, LAN switches, Wireless LAN, firewall, etc.
• Brand/Manufacturer include CISCO, Avaya, Riverbed, Huawei, Palo Alto, UPS, Microsoft, etc.

Maintenance:

• Provide a 7-day x 24-hours basis on-call services
• On-standby support with SLA 7*24*4.
• Replacing any field replaceable units required and returning the equipment to normal operational condition;
• Installing requested engineering changes, or any required software.
• Re-packing of returning equipment for RMA return.

Skillset:

• 3 years of experience.
• Strong internetworking skills.
• Ability to understand technical documents and follow instructions.
• Basic command of English
