Job summary

Element Construction Testing (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a diligent professional to oversee NDT testing operations for concrete building materials, including test arrangement, execution, and reporting.

The role involves reviewing tests, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing training materials, and supporting onboarding of technicians; Diploma in Civil Engineering or Materials Science is preferred; AutoCAD skills and safety knowledge are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Materials Science is required.
• Knowledge of construction site and laboratory safety is beneficial.
• No prior experience is required.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge across the discipline.

Responsibilities

• In charge of operation of NDT testing for concrete building materials, including test arrangement, testing and reporting.
• Provide counsel to coworkers and customers requiring critical analysis of data.
• Be responsible for SINGLAS Accreditation.
• Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers.
• Utilize skills and procedures in advanced testing analysis.
• Read/translate construction drawings and technical requirements to reach testing conclusions.
• Present testing results to stakeholders, formally or informally.
• Review test reports to ensure regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
• Develop training material and deliver technical training to laboratory colleagues.
