Job summary

Element is seeking an Engineer to join our expanding operations team in Singapore. The role involves conducting NDT testing onsite, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to safety, code of conduct, and company policies.

The Engineer will assist in the development of junior staff, interpret construction drawings, and present findings to stakeholders, while maintaining regulatory compliance and inspection readiness across the laboratory network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Material Science is required.
• No work experience required.
• Knowledge of construction site and laboratory safety is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and application in testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate NDT testing onsite, including test arrangement, testing and reporting.
• Provide counsel to coworkers and customers requiring data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with SINGLAS accreditation requirements.
• Assist in professional development of junior technicians and engineers.
• Apply diverse testing methods, procedures and materials in analysis.
• Read/translate construction drawings and technical requirements for testing conclusions.
• Present test results to stakeholders in formal/non-formal settings.
• Review test reports to maintain regulatory compliance and readiness for inspections.
• Develop training materials and deliver technical training to laboratory staff.
