Job summary

DHL Express Singapore is seeking an NCG Agent for the South Asia Hub. The role focuses on monitoring flight movements, initiating contingency plans, and delivering timely incident updates.

You will coordinate with carriers and local country teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in logistics or airline sectors, hold a diploma, and possess strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in airline, transportation or logistics.
• Diploma required as minimum educational qualification.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Shift role required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor flight movements and activate contingency plans.
• Provide accurate performance and incident reports to improve service quality.
• Interface with the network and local country customer service on problems and inquiries.
• Coordinate with airlines for outbound/inbound service enhancements.
• Communicate with service providers for flight details and updates.
• Update OURS with incident causes, transit time impact and corrective actions.
• Monitor QCC systems and obtain recovery status when discrepancies are identified.
• Provide instructions to operations during contingency activations.

Role Opportunity: NCG Agent (South Asia Hub)

Reporting to the NCG Supervisor, the incumbent are required to pro-actively monitor the flight movements, activating contingency plans, responds promptly to network requests and timely updates of service incidents.

Your Tasks

• Provide accurate and analytic performance / incident report to enhance performance quality.
• Provide a tracing service for the network and interface with local country customer service on service problems and enquiries.
• Communicate with service provider to get information on flight details.
• Work with airlines to implement outbound and inbound service enhancements.
• Gateway and Hubs regarding inbound & outbound operations, adhering to standards and protocols for pre-alert, faxes, e-mails, and other communications with the DHL network.
• Interface with local country customer service on service problems and enquiries.
• Confirm uplift & recovery of all outbound & inbound movements;
• Update OURS with incidents on reasons of incident occur, transit time impact and corrective action taken to minimise transit time impact;
• Proactively monitoring of QCC systems
• Obtain recovery status of shipment when UAS/AQCC identifies a discrepancy.
• Provide instructions to Ops should there be an activation of contingency plan.
• Update of shipment status for shipments that are intercepted;
• Follow up on shipment issues inclusive of DG handling;
• Action on inbound alerts and provide information to the relevant parties.

Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

• Ensure that physical movement of Dangerous Goods and Medical Express/WMX cargo meets customers and internal requirements and is completed in an efficient and safe manner.

What You Bring

• At least 2 year of relevant experience, preferably within airline, transportation or logistics industry.
• At least a diploma .
• Good communication skills (both written and spoken) in English.
• This role is required to perform shift role.
