Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) for Process Development in Advanced Thin Film. You will lead development of dielectric and carbon-based films, perform complex experiments, and drive technology transfer to manufacturing.

You will mentor junior engineers and document SOPs while collaborating across functions to improve yield and reliability. This role requires a PhD in a related field and 10–15 years of NAND thin-film R&D experience, including ALD/CVD,

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in Thin Film R&D for NAND processes, especially diffusion and CVD films.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-level initiatives focused on developing dielectric and carbon-based film processes.
• Carry out complex experiments and support process integration under guidance of senior staff.
• Collaborate with functions to facilitate technology transfer and ramp-up activities.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
• Mentor staff and provide leadership aligned with TLP entry expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of existing processes.
• Participate in multi-functional problem-solving teams to address process challenges.
• Develop and document SOPs and knowledge management systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in thin film processing.
