Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned professional to analyze requirements and design Murex STP trade interfaces. The role involves developing automation using UNIX shell scripts, SQL, and Core Java to streamline interfaces between Murex and other systems.

You will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and users, including external vendors, and contribute to building confirmations and Swift-related documents from STP processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Murex MxML (MX 3.1) with XML/XST and data dictionaries.
• Experience in Murex pre-trade sequence related to STP trade interfaces.
• SQL knowledge, preferably in a Sybase environment.
• UNIX system commands and shell scripting.
• Good knowledge of Murex DataMart reports, MDRS/MDCS/RTBS.
• Core Java (preferably Java 1.6+).
• Familiarity with Agile software development.
• Hands-on experience with automated test frameworks.

• Work will also include some development using UNIX shell scripts, SQL and Core Java to automate the interfaces between Murex and other application systems.
• The candidate is expected to work closely, and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, business analysts and business users, as well as external vendors.
• Experienced in building Confirmation templates, event notices, Swift Messages and related document generation from the STP
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Possess good knowledge of below technical skills:
• Murex MxML (MX 3.1), with proficiency in XML/XST, data dictionaries
• Murex pre-trade sequence related to STP trade interfaces
• SQL, preferably in Sybase environment
• UNIX system command and shell scripting
• Good to have below knowledge and skills:
• Murex DataMart report, market data (MDRS/MDCS/RTBS)
• Core Java, preferably version 1.6 and above
