Job summary

VISEO ASIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Murex developer to lead workflow and MxML design for treasury-related interfaces and new product development.

You will analyze requirements, write technical specs, and collaborate with project managers, business users, and external vendors through all project phases, including post go-live support. The role requires deep Murex expertise (3.1), strong communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of Murex workflow and MxML development experience in financial services, treasury preferred.
• Strong understanding of Murex 3.1 workflow and MxML; familiar with trade, contract, and exchange workflows.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Requirement gathering and impact analysis for change requests, projects and new product development.
• Development and support for change requests, projects and new product development..
• Provide support to all phases of project development and post go-live support as well.
• Analyze user requirements and write tech specs and design/development of Murex STP trade interfaces.
• The candidate is expected to work closely, and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, business analysts and business users, as well as external vendors.
• Experienced in building Confirmation templates, event notices, ISO, Swift Messages and related document generation from the STP.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• More than 8 years of MUREX workflow and MxML development experience in the financial industry, direct experience with treasury business is preferred.
• Good understanding of Murex 3.1 workflow and MxML, familiar with trade workflow, contract workflow, exchange workflow etc.
• In-depth experience in Murex workflow development involving trade life cycle, creating new system interface workflow, confirmation generation, error management, OSP, etc.
• Ability to perform business analysis and requirement gathering independently.
• Experience in Confirmation Build (Paper/Swift/ISO).
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Exposure to Murex Managed Interfaces like CLS, Market Data, Omgeo, Bloombergsmt & MRRE.
• Prior Experience in Data migration in Murex projects.
• Good understanding of Murex DataMart reporting.
• MQ and SFTP knowledge.
• Experience in Unix Shell Scripting.

Other Requirements

• Good knowledge of Treasury products.
• Strong analytical mind set and problem-solving skills.
