Job summary

Luxoft Information Technology (Singapore) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Murex specialist to analyze requirements and design STP interfaces for trade processing. You will work on UNIX shell scripting, SQL and Core Java to automate cross-system interfaces with Murex and other applications.

The role requires collaboration with project managers, analysts, and external vendors, plus experience in building STP document templates such as confirmations and Swift messages.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Murex MXML (MX 3.1) with proficiency in XML/XST and data dictionaries.
• Murex pre-trade sequence related to STP trade interfaces.
• SQL, preferably in Sybase environment.
• UNIX system command and shell scripting.
• Murex DataMart report, MDRS/MDCS/RTBS.
• Core Java, v1.6+.
• Agile software development knowledge.
• Automated test framework hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and design/development of Murex STP trade interfaces.
• Develop using UNIX shell scripts, SQL and Core Java to automate interfaces between Murex and other systems.
• Communicate with project managers, business analysts, business users and external vendors.
• Build Confirmation templates, event notices, Swift Messages and related STP document generation.

Our Customer is a Leading bank in Asia that provides a front to back integrated platform for straight through processing and risk management. This is a multi-year initiative where different projects run in concurrence under the program's variety milestones. These streams include new product initiatives, new entity roll-outs and regulatory compliances. We will have key roles in projects such as managing the scope, design and delivering requirements from front to back office with Luxoft. We are looking for talented and ambitious people. The roles are in the respective Functional, Test Management, Development, Test Support, Environment Management and Release teams. These units will collectively undertake scoping, design, building, testing and implementation phases to deliver the variety program milestones.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and design/development of Murex STP trade interfaces.
• Work will also include some development using UNIX shell scripts, SQL and Core Java to automate the interfaces between Murex and other application systems.
• The candidate is expected to work closely, and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, business analysts and business users, as well as external vendors.
• Experienced in building Confirmation templates, event notices, Swift Messages and related document generation from the STP

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Possess good knowledge of below technical skills:
• Murex MxML (MX 3.1), with proficiency in XML/XST, data dictionaries
• Murex pre-trade sequence related to STP trade interfaces
• SQL, preferably in Sybase environment
• UNIX system command and shell scripting
• Good to have below knowledge and skills:
• Murex DataMart report, market data (MDRS/MDCS/RTBS)
• Core Java, preferably version 1.6 and above
