Job summary

TANGSPAC CONSULTING PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Murex specialist for a contract role in Singapore. You will gather requirements, analyze impacts, and design/develop Murex STP trade interfaces, while supporting all project life cycle phases from development to post go-live support.

The ideal candidate has extensive Murex workflow experience, MxML knowledge, treasury domain exposure, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to work independently in a fast-paced financial

• Ability to perform business analysis and requirement gathering independently.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• In-depth experience in Murex workflow development involving trade life cycle, creating new system interface workflow, confirmation generation, error management, OSP, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement gathering and impact analysis for change requests, projects and new product development

• Provide support to all phases of project development and post go-live support as well.
• Analyze user requirements and write tech specs and design/development of Murex STP trade interfaces.

Essential Skills:

• Good understanding of Murex 3.1 workflow and MxML, familiar with trade workflow, contract workflow, exchange workflow etc.
• More than 8 years of MUREX workflow and MxML development experience in the financial industry, direct experience with treasury business is preferred.
• In-depth experience in Murex workflow development involving trade life cycle, creating new system interface workflow, confirmation generation, error management, OSP, etc
• Ability to perform business analysis and requirement gathering independently
• Experience in Confirmation Build (Paper/Swift/ISO)
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues

Good to have below knowledge and skills:

• Exposure to Murex Managed Interfaces like CLS, Market Data, Omgeo , Bloombergsmt & MRRE
• Prior Experience in Data migration in Murex projects
• Good understanding of Murex DataMart reporting
• MQ and SFTP knowledge
• Experience in Unix Shell Scripting

Mandatory Skills:

• Murex MxML, System Integration, Oracle SQL ,Unix , Shell Scripting
