Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking a highly experienced Murex specialist to join a front-to-back STP initiative for a leading bank in Asia. You will analyse user requirements, design and develop Murex STP interfaces, and collaborate with PMs, BAs and business users across streams.

The role involves UNIX shell scripting, SQL in Sybase, and Core Java for automation and integration, with a focus on reliable, scalable delivery in a multi-year program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Murex MXML (MX 3.1) and XML/XST skills.
• SQL in Sybase environment.
• UNIX shell scripting.
• Core Java (1.6+) and automated test framework experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and design/development of Murex STP trade interfaces.
• Work includes development using UNIX shell scripts, SQL and Core Java to automate interfaces between Murex and other systems.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, business analysts and users, as well as external vendors.
• Experience in building Confirmation templates, event notices, Swift Messages and related document generation from the STP.

Our Customer is a Leading bank in Asia that provides a front to back integrated platform for straight through processing and risk management.

This is a multi-year initiative where different projects run in concurrence under the program's variety milestones. These streams include new product initiatives, new entity roll-outs and regulatory compliances.

We will have key roles in projects such as managing the scope, design and delivering requirements from front to back office with Luxoft.

We are looking for talented and ambitious people. The roles are in the respective Functional, Test Management, Development, Test Support, Environment Management and Release teams. These units will collectively undertake scoping, design, building, testing and implementation phases to deliver the variety program milestones.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and design/development of Murex STP trade interfaces.
• Work will also include some development using UNIX shell scripts, SQL and Core Java to automate the interfaces between Murex and other application systems.
• The candidate is expected to work closely, and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, business analysts and business users, as well as external vendors.
• Experienced in building Confirmation templates, event notices, Swift Messages and related document generation from the STP

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Possess good knowledge of below technical skills:
• Murex MxML (MX 3.1), with proficiency in XML/XST, data dictionaries
• Murex pre-trade sequence related to STP trade interfaces
• SQL, preferably in Sybase environment
• UNIX system command and shell scripting
• Good to have below knowledge and skills:
• Core Java, preferably version 1.6 and above
• Automated test framework hands-on experience
