Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Singapore is seeking a MSAT System Engineer to design and manufacture mechanical and mechatronics assemblies for ICP-MS mass spectrometers, translating R&D innovations into scalable production solutions.

You will lead cross-functional product transfers, apply DfX and QA practices, and drive platform standardization across the factory while collaborating with R&D, Global Manufacturing, Product Marketing and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience in a comparable engineering role.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Experience with CAD tools and PCBA design, manufacturing and qualification processes.

Responsibilities

Own critical mechanical and/or mechatronic assemblies and products throughout the full lifecycle.
Lead transfer of new products from development into mass production.
Apply Design-for-Excellence (DfX) across cost, manufacturability, quality, and automation.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and cross-functional teams on NPIs and industrialization.
Lead prototype ramp, reliability validation, and readiness for launch.
