Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Singapore seeks an MSAT System Engineer to design and manufacture mechanical and mechatronic assemblies for ICP-MS Mass Spectrometers. You will translate R&D concepts into scalable manufacturing solutions, lead NPI activities, and ensure Design-for-Excellence across cost, quality and automation.

You will serve as Technical Owner for platform processes, drive root-cause investigations, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Global Manufacturing to optimize product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in a comparable engineering role with cross-functional experience.
• Experience with CAD and PCBA design, manufacturing, and qualification processes.
• FMEA/DoE/DFx knowledge is a plus; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI and transfer new products from development into mass production.
• Define system-level manufacturing concepts, test strategies and industrialization approaches.
• Own critical mechanical and mechatronic assemblies and modules across lifecycle.
• Collaborate with R&D, Global Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement systemic corrective actions.
