Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Singapore seeks an MSAT System Engineer to optimize the design and manufacturing of mechanical and mechatronics assemblies for ICP-MS mass spectrometers.

You will bridge R&D, Quality and Manufacturing to translate product innovation into scalable manufacturing solutions, supporting cross-functional teams and global platforms. This full-time role emphasizes DfX, process industrialization, and robust design for high-volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
• 8+ years of experience in a comparable engineering role.
• Experience with technical drawings and CAD tools.
• Experience in PCBA design, manufacturing and qualification processes.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical and/or mechatronic assemblies and modules through full product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and other engineering groups.
• Lead NPI transfers from development into mass production.
• Apply Design-for-Excellence (DfX) across cost, manufacturability, quality, and automation.
• Champion innovations for scale across Agilent’s factories.
• Define system-level concepts, test strategies, and industrialization approaches.
