Job summary

Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is a joint venture between Rolls-Royce and SIA Engineering Company, delivering engine overhaul and component repair services. The Material Planner role ensures timely availability of parts and materials to support engine repair and overhaul schedules.

The successful candidate will plan, monitor, and expedite material requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain stock levels using SAP or other ERPs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience in Material Planning, Inventory Management or Supply Chain is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong planning, coordination and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor material requirements for engine repair and overhaul activities.
• Forecast material demand and track parts delivery to ensure on-time availability.
• Source, expedite, or arrange stock transfers when parts are unavailable or delayed.
• Review MRP outputs and replenish inventory as required.
• Raise Purchase Orders and ensure adequate spare parts to support production schedules.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align material availability with production goals.
• Schedule and oversee procurement, supply, and delivery of materials.
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and order cancellations; identify shortages and mitigate impacts.

Job Summary

The Material Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring material requirements to support engine repair and overhaul operations, ensuring the timely availability of parts and materials to meet production schedules.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor material requirements for engine repair and overhaul activities.

• Schedule and oversee the procurement, supply, and delivery of materials.
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and order cancellations effectively.Identify material shortages and implement mitigation plans to minimize operational impact.

Qualification / Experience

• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior experience in Material Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain operations is preferred.
