Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an experienced MPS Control Manager to lead Master Production Scheduling across multiple sites, translating demand into executable production plans and ensuring optimal use of capacity, labor, and materials.

You will collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Commercial teams to balance supply and demand, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement in planning and inventory performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
APICS CPIM and CSCP certifications preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher desirable.
8+ years in supply/production planning or operations management.
3+ years in leadership or people management.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of S&OP, MPS, MRP, and inventory management.
Proficient in SAP, BOMs, lead times, and planning master data.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of the Master Production Schedule across sites.
Translate demand forecasts into executable production plans.
Balance capacity, materials, and labor to meet service targets.
Monitor production performance and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams.
Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and KPIs.
Lead planning data integrity and ERP/MRP system usage.
Coach and develop a team of production schedulers and planners.
