Job summary

Teco Electric & Machinery Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales professional responsible for selling electrical products and services, achieving sales targets, and growing orders with existing customers.

You will identify new business opportunities, deliver product presentations, coordinate delivery, and maintain relationships with consultants/EPCs. The ideal candidate has engineering background, strong communication, own transport, and driving license.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Experience in technical sales / pre-sales / sales engineering.
• Exposure to Motors, Drives, Transformers, Switchgear, Generators or Busbars is an added advantage.
• Experience with Consultants / EPC is preferred.
• Possess own transport and class 3 driving license.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pro-active, highly motivated and driven personality.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sales of products/services, achieving sales targets and ensure sustainable order growth.
• Manage and increase business with existing customers by identifying their current and future service requirements to provide solutions, maintaining relationships.
• Identify and establish new business opportunities / market potential customers.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on products and service.
• Contribute to team effort and be accountable for sales growth objectives.
• Perform regular status updates and propose recovery plan(s) in case of shortfalls.
• Hunter mindset – prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals.
• New account acquisition + growing existing customers.
• Active prospecting and presentations.
• Accountability for sales targets, delivery coordination, and collections.
• Correspond with suppliers and customers to ensure prompt delivery.
