Sanwa-Intec (Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking a production assistant in Singapore to support daily molding operations. You will troubleshoot machines, set up molds, and ensure quality product output while maintaining clean and safe work areas.

The role requires reading engineering drawings with GD&T knowledge and hands-on problem solving, with 2–5 years in plastics or related manufacturing environments, plus teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• NITEC/NTC/Higher NITEC or Diploma or equivalent technical qualification is required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding, manufacturing, automation, or quality inspection is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings with knowledge of GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Assist Production Supervisors for daily production activities.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine parameters within tolerance to meet product print.
• Perform mold set-up, start up, checklists and samples submission.
• Maintain area cleanliness, documents, and wiring/hose arrangement after mold setup or teardown.
• Perform daily mold cleaning and machine cleanliness checks.

Description du poste

• Assist Production Supervisors for the daily production activities.
• Troubleshooting and adjustment of machine parameter within tolerance set in master, automations and production equipment to meet the product print.
• To perform mold set- up, start up, checklist and samples submission
• Perform a well maintain of area cleanliness, documents, wiring/hose arrangement after mold set up or down mold.
• Perform daily mold cleaning and maintain machine cleanliness
• Daily check for molding parameter,mold/melt temperature according to the Process Parameter Check sheet
• Carry out production parts troubleshooting according to the In-process Inspection non-conformance
• Record of machines spare parts with proper identification and inventory control
• Mold clamping setting and vision camera setting for Mold Protection.
• Records of daily preventive maintenance check sheet
• Support Maintenance Section to carry out machine PM program and repair job
• Assist in new project/testing if required.
• Ensure that all machines safety devices (cover, curtain sensor etc) are in good working condition.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.
• Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives.

Requirements:

• NITEC/NTC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings with knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience with quality measuring equipment and inspection methodologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
