Job summary

Sembcorp Specialised Construction in Singapore seeks a BIM Modeler to develop and maintain detailed Building Information Models supporting design, coordination and construction activities. You will produce 3D models, run clash reports, and help with documentation and submissions to authorities.

The role requires a Diploma in Architectural/Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, solid Revit experience, and a safety certification. Only Singaporeans will be considered for this position.

Qualifications

• BIM modelling experience using Revit or similar software.
• Safety training: Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course.
• Security clearance required; only Singaporeans will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate Building Information Models to support design, coordination and construction.
• Generate clash detection reports from 3D models to improve design accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with e-submission to authorities and archiving of BIM data.
• Produce 3D drawings and model-based documentation for project teams.

Purpose and Scope

The BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate Building Information Models to support design, coordination, and construction activities within the built environment. This role involves producing detailed 3D models, integrating multidisciplinary data, and ensuring compliance with project standards and BIM protocols. The BIM Modeler collaborates with architects, engineers, and project teams to facilitate clash detection, improve design efficiency, and support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Primary role is to develop the model using BIM Software
• Skilled enough with BIM to understand the modeling requirements and how buildings go together to be able to do so accurately
• Ensure the integrity of the model
• Able to do up to minimum 3D BIM
• Generate clash detection report and other relevant reports from 3D model
• Assist with e-submission to Authorities
• Assist with archival of 3D models and related documentation
• Drawing production from 3D models
• Administer 3D model / drawings distribution to relevant users
• Any other duties assigned from time to time
• Ensure the smooth completion of the project

Requirements

• NiTEC/Diploma Education Qualification in Architectural, Civil / Structural Engineering, MEP or its relevant discipline
• Possess experience in BIM modelling using Revit or relvant software
• Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course
• Job involves sensitive work which requires security clearance; only Singaporeans will be considered
