TikTok is seeking an intern for the E-commerce ML/AI team in Singapore. You will join a fast-growing team of engineers and data scientists building large-scale recommendation and ranking models, live streaming and short video features, and deploy ML solutions in production.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in software development, CS, or related field.
• Strong programming and problem-solving ability.
• Experience in applied machine learning with common algorithms.
• Experience with deep learning tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with programming languages like C++ or Python.

Responsibilities

• Participate in building large-scale E-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems (e.g., commodity, live stream, and short video recommendations).
• Build long- and short-term user interest models and analyze large data to extract latent interests.
• Design, develop, and iterate predictive models for candidate generation and ranking, including real-time data pipelines and feature engineering.
• Design and build tools to support debugging and model deployment.
• Support production of scalable AI/ML models and systems.
• Extract, transform, and load large volumes of real-time unstructured data for AI/ML deployment.
• Run experiments to test deployed models and identify issues.
• Collaborate in a team setting applying statistics, scripting and programming skills.
• Work with relevant software platforms where models are deployed.
