Job summary

TikTok is seeking engineers to join our E-commerce Recommendation and Search Infra team in Singapore. You will help build scalable services and data pipelines for TikTok Shop, focusing on high-performance computing frameworks and retrieval systems.

Collaborate with ML engineers to apply ML/NLP techniques on large datasets. Successful candidates will contribute to search algorithm innovation, architecture research, and production systems that support massive data and global users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in AI/CS/Software Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in C++, Java, or Python with strong CS fundamentals.
• Experience with big data tools and distributed systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with open source frameworks used in data processing and search.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance online services and data pipelines for TikTok Shop recommendation and search systems.
• Design and develop high-performance computing frameworks and storage systems for e-commerce scenarios.
• Develop and optimize search engine architecture for TikTok Shop, including retrieval systems and data processing platforms.
• Ensure production system stability and build distributed systems for massive data and scale.
• Apply data mining, ML and NLP techniques to extract insights from large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with global teams to drive search and recommendation innovation.
