Job summary

TikTok is seeking interns to join its E-commerce recommendations team. You will work on building large-scale billion-level recommendation algorithms for commodity recommendations, live stream and short video suggestions.

The team focuses on applying ML to improve engagement and satisfaction across global platforms. Interns will gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and participate in development workshops and social events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or master's in a related technical field.
• Strong programming and problem-solving ability.
• Experience in applied machine learning with common algorithms.
• Experience with DL frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in one or more languages like C++/Python.

Responsibilities

• Participate in building large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems.
• Develop long and short term user interest models from large data.
• Design and evaluate predictive models for CTR/Conversion Rate, including data pipelines and feature engineering.
• Build supporting/debugging tools as needed and help productionize ML models.
