Job summary

TikTok is seeking a skilled ML engineer for its e-commerce alliance team in Singapore. You will build scalable ML models to predict real-time creator interests, optimize product recommendations, and improve monetization for merchants while supporting rapid ML deployment and experimentation.

The role requires strong C++/Python, experience with big data tools and DL frameworks, and a track record in personalized recommendation or online advertising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in C++ and Python; proficiency in Big Data tools (Hive SQL, Spark, MapReduce).
• Experience with DL tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Applied ML with algorithms like CF, Matrix Factorization, FGMs, Word2vec, LR, GBDT, DNNs.

Responsibilities

• Build and design ML algorithms to model real-time creator interests to improve conversion efficiency.
• Optimize large-scale commodity relationship mining, ranking, and product recommendations to boost GMV.
• Analyze creator and merchant behavior to deploy targeted algorithm strategies.
• Support rapid development of e-commerce ML models and scalable solutions.
• Run experiments to test model performance and debug issues in production.
