Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. invites an experienced Infrastructure Middleware Engineer to support enterprise environments across Windows, Linux, IBM AIX, and Solaris.

You will deploy and manage middleware such as WebSphere, MQ, JBoss, and A-MQ, while handling databases and LDAP services to ensure reliable operations. In this hands-on role, you will work with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, perform troubleshooting, patches, and performance tuning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure, System Administration, or Middleware Support.
• Experience across both operating systems and middleware administration.
• Good understanding of application architecture, web servers, application servers, databases, authentication, and messaging systems.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Red Hat OpenShift) is an advantage.
• Relevant cloud or Red Hat certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows, Linux, IBM AIX, and Solaris environments.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain middleware platforms such as IBM WebSphere, IBM MQ, JBoss EAP, and JBoss A-MQ.
• Manage databases including IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Support LDAP services such as IBM Security Directory Server and Apache LDAP.
• Deploy and maintain Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments.
• Perform system troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Support infrastructure planning, sizing, deployment activities, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and operational support.
