Job summary

Shell Infotech Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on System Administrator to manage production systems with a strong focus on Linux.

The role requires expertise in OS patching, upgrades and security management, plus knowledge of virtualization, high-availability and disaster recovery. You will work with middleware and web servers (Apache HTTP, WebSphere, JBOSS, Tomcat, IIS), IBM MQ and JDBC on J2EE, and participate in modern infrastructure including Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in System Administration for production systems.
• Strong Linux focus and Linux administration expertise.
• Familiarity with OS patching, upgrades, and security management.
• Knowledge of OS virtualization, HA/clustering, replication, backup and recovery.
