Job summary

Ensoft Consulting Pte Ltd seeks a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to own the health, security, and scalability of container platforms and middleware across Development, Staging, and Production environments.

You will manage Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and related middleware while ensuring CIS-based security, compliance, and robust observability with Prometheus and Grafana. Strong collaboration with DevOps and Security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of enterprise infrastructure administration experience.
• Strong proficiency in RHEL and Windows Server.
• Containerization with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker.
• Experience with MongoDB, NGINX, Apache, IBM MQ, or similar stacks.
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks and Singapore security standards.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Singaporean citizen required for project security clearance.
• Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, VMware VCP, or MongoDB Admin are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Platform Operations: Manage, monitor, and maintain container platforms (Kubernetes, Podman, Docker) and essential middleware.
• System Administration: Install, configure, and patch RHEL and Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and capacity planning.
• COTS Management: Support the lifecycle of enterprise software including MongoDB, NGINX, IBM MQ, Kafka, Keycloak, and ArcGIS.
• Security & Compliance: Perform infrastructure hardening based on CIS benchmarks and Singapore Government security standards.
• Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring/logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure proactive incident response and service reliability.
• Collaboration: Partner with DevOps and Security teams to support CI/CD pipelines, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure automation initiatives.
