Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd is hiring a Senior Infra/Platform Engineer to install, configure, and set up Middleware Applications. You will support the Solution Architect and lead project engineers to deliver end-to-end implementations.

The role requires strong Linux/Windows experience, OpenShift and Kubernetes expertise, and the ability to work across bare metal, virtual servers, and cloud services, with a focus on reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
• Experience with OpenShift, private/public cloud and on-premises environments.
• Knowledge of cloud Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service concepts.
• Strong leadership, analytical mindset and productivity improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Review customer server setup, identify flaws, and propose enhancements.
• Provide performance statistics during troubleshooting.
• Track outstanding tasks and follow up to completion.
• Hands-on automation experience via shell scripting to boost productivity.
• Assist solution architect with innovative design and implementation using OpenShift, Tanzu, Docker, Kubernetes, and related cloud services.
• Update documentation reflecting system setup and environment.
• Handle incidents with escalation control to meet SLA.
• Utilise ITSM processes and tools.
• Rostered to handle after-hours incidents and planned activities.
• Perform daily health checks, monitor servers, and report when project goes live.
