Job summary

Leica Microsystems, part of the Danaher family, is seeking an Applications Specialist – Microscopy for the SEA region, based in Singapore. You will translate scientific needs into practical microscopy solutions, collaborating with sales, service and product teams.

You will lead demonstrations, workshops and technical evaluations, ensuring adoption and optimization of Leica workflows. Travel within the territory is expected to support customers and events.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, presentation, troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to conduct product demonstrations, workshops and technical evaluations.
• Travel within territory to support demonstrations, workshops, installations and events.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer scientific, technical and workflow requirements across pre- and post-sales processes.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, channel partners, service, marketing, product management and technical teams to evaluate requirements and solution fit.
• Recommend appropriate microscopy products, configurations and workflows aligned with specifications and customer objectives.
• Prepare specifications translating requirements into practical technical approaches for adoption and optimization.
• Plan and deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, workshops and data analysis workflows.
• Provide training, technical consultation and troubleshooting support to customers and internal teams.
• Capture customer feedback and market developments to support continuous improvement and growth.
