Job summary

You will identify new business, present tailored event packages, and lead end-to-end sales activities with a focus on delivering memorable client experiences.

Collaborating with operations and planning teams, you will conduct venue tours, deliver compelling proposals, and ensure successful on-site delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or Event Management required.
• 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in events, hospitality, or the MICE industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills to engage clients and close sales.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities by researching and reaching out to potential clients such as corporate companies, event planners, and agencies to expand event sales.
• Generate qualified leads through strategic networking, cold calling, and leveraging referrals to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their event requirements and recommending tailored event packages that align with their objectives.
• Conduct venue tours and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients to showcase event offerings and secure bookings.
• Promote comprehensive event packages including venue, catering, audiovisual, and related services to maximize sales revenue.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with client expectations.
• Collaborate closely with operations and event planning teams to communicate event details and support smooth event execution.
• Provide on-site support during events as needed to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of cost of sales expenses and track leads, sales activities, and client interactions to inform management decisions.
• Prepare regular sales and project reports for management to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple client engagements and sales activities while meeting deadlines.
