Job summary

Molex Singapore, part of the Koch family, is seeking a Technician, Metrology (AQP) to support NPI by providing precise measurement, inspection, and data analysis throughout product development. You will work with the Advanced Quality Planning team to ensure product readiness for manufacturing and successful launches.

This role emphasizes metrology tools, GD&T, data-driven decision making, and close collaboration with Design, Process, and Quality teams.

Qualifications

Qualification with NITEC in Engineering or related technical field.
Fundamental knowledge of metrology tools and GD&T concepts.
Ability to work independently with good organization and time management.
Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Perform inspection, measurement, data analysis, and reporting to support NPI projects.
Develop and execute measurement programs, inspection gauges, and fixtures.
Conduct MSA, capability studies, and statistical analysis.
Update and maintain quality documentation such as inspection checklists, control plans, and SOPs.
Review engineering drawings and highlight potential dimensional or specification issues.
Extract historical quality notifications and lessons learned to support design reviews.
