Job summary

Molex is seeking an Assistant Engineer, Metrology in Singapore to support measurement activities across the NPI process. You will work with Design, Manufacturing, Project Management, and QA teams to ensure accurate measurement systems and reliable inspection workflows for successful product launches.

You will contribute to fixture design reviews, MSA studies, and documentation updates, while coordinating with suppliers to meet timelines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of metrology tools, measurement principles, and GD&T.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, NX, SolidWorks.
• Able to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support measurement-related activities during the NPI cycle.
• Coordinate fixture design, fabrication, and rework with internal teams and suppliers.
• Review fixtures and drawings before creating measurement programs.
• Work with AQP teams to prioritize measurement activities and project requirements.
• Perform MSA, capability studies, and statistical analyses to support quality objectives.
• Update quality documents, checklists, control plans, and work instructions.
• Schedule measurement and testing to meet project timelines.
