Job summary

Molex is seeking an Assistant Engineer, Metrology to support measurement-related activities throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate measurement systems, fixture development, and reliable inspection processes that support successful product launches and quality objectives.

You will be part of the DSS organization, partnering with Product Design, Manufacturing, Process and Tooling Engineering, Project

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
Knowledge of metrology tools, measurement principles, and GD&T.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Support measurement-related activities during the NPI cycle.
Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers on fixture design, fabrication, and rework activities.
Review fixtures and engineering drawings before measurement program creation.
Partner with Advance Quality Planning (AQP) teams to prioritize measurement activities and project requirements.
Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA), capability studies, and other statistical analyses to support quality objectives.
Update and maintain quality documentation, including inspection checklists, control plans, and work instructions.
Schedule and coordinate measurement and testing requests to meet project timelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
