Advanced Substrate Technologies Pte. Ltd. (AST) is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to design, implement, and optimize MES solutions for a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment in Singapore.

You will collaborate with the Toppan DI team to ensure stable MES operations, deliver global remote support, and drive Industry 4.0 initiatives. The role requires a strong background in MES development and integration, proficiency in Python, and experience with Oracle/DB2/MSSQL/MySQL

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, computer science or information systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python; Java or C# experience is a plus.
• Experience in database management and maintenance (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL).
• Proven track record of MES development, integration, deployment and optimization in manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of MES modules, Oracle databases, and system integration architectures.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, enterprise system integration, and Industry 4.0/smart manufacturing.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving, analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management; able to multitask.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and optimize MES solutions for high-volume electronics manufacturing.
• Support MES operations globally with remote assistance from Singapore.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track production KPIs.
• Lead MES initiatives from scope to deployment and upgrades.
• Monitor MES performance and perform preventive actions to reduce downtime.
• Ensure data integrity and cybersecurity for MES systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and IT teams for enhancements.
• Create SOPs and technical documentation; provide end-user training.
