Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an MES Engineer in Singapore to own and optimise the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and its integrations across the site. The role encompasses design, maintenance, upgrades and lifecycle management, ensuring compliant, reliable MES performance supporting digitalisation initiatives.

You will lead validation, change controls and interfaces with IoT devices, collaborating with Digital/IT, QA and external vendors to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Business System Owner (BSO) and SME for MES, leading configuration, maintenance, upgrades and improvements.
• Maintain MES architecture, databases, process instructions and technical specs in line with global standards.
• Ensure MES interfaces and IoT device integrations are reliable and up-to-date across site systems.
• Provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot MES issues and coordinate with Digital/IT and vendors.
• Lead MES activities from design through commissioning, validation and operational handover for site projects.
• Support CSV lifecycle, validation changes and regulatory documentation to maintain validated state.
• Maintain GMP, data integrity, cybersecurity, access controls and backup/recovery processes for MES.
• Prepare SOPs and engineering records; train operations and end users on MES functionality.
• Manage MES vendors for support, maintenance and project execution, reviewing proposals.
• Participate in global MES and digital networks, sharing lessons and aligning with global standards.
