Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to support merchant onboarding, KYC, and cross-border payments in a hybrid Clarke Quay setup.

The role offers learning opportunities in fintech and payments, with exposure to regional operations and potential overseas travel. High conversion to permanent possible based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage merchant onboarding, including KYC verification, account setup, and system integration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants by providing operational support and resolving day-to-day enquiries.
• Process and monitor cross-border payment and remittance transactions.
• Investigate and resolve payment, settlement, and transaction-related issues.
• Liaise with internal teams, banking partners, and merchants to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare operational reports, reconciliations, and maintain SOP documentation.
• Support process improvement initiatives and operational projects.

Salary: $3,500 - $4,000/month
Employment: 6-Month Contract (High Conversion to Permanent)

Responsibilities

• Manage merchant onboarding, including KYC verification, account setup, and system integration.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Accountancy, or related disciplines.
• Experience in FinTech, Payment Service Providers (PSP), payment gateways, remittance, digital wallets, or payment operations.
• Experience with companies or platforms in the payments ecosystem (e.g. PSPs, remittance providers, payment gateways, digital wallets, or other fintech companies) will be highly preferred.
• Knowledge of merchant onboarding, KYC, payment operations, settlements, FX, or remittance will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
